Covid-19 Safety
Here at Monarch Equestrian Center, we are doing our part to insure safety is our number one priority during these uncertain times. Our facility is sanitized throughout the day so we can reduce the spread of Covid. We provide disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer in common areas, and we are limiting communal items such as brushes, hoof picks, sponges, etc.
What you can do to help:
- Please make an appointment to visit.
- Anyone visiting the facility must take their temperatures prior to leaving the house.
- If a rider or any member of their immediate household has a temperature of >99.9, the rider must stay at home.
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water as soon as you arrive, and when you are finished.
- We are asking riders and visitors to practice social distancing while they are here.
- Masks are required.

Barn Safety Rules
Here at Monarch Equestrian Center, the safety of everyone, whether two or four legged, is our upmost concern. We want everyone to have a fun and safe experience when at our facility. It is very important to abide by these rules, so if any of them seem unclear, please ask for clarification.
- Do not feed horses treats, especially when they are outside. It is very dangerous. Some of our horses are allergic to certain things, and they also will fight over the treats and get injured. They may also bite you, so please refrain from doing this.
- All children under the ages of twelve must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
- Anyone mounted on a horse on the property must wear protective headgear.
- No one, other than Monarch Equestrian staff and owner, are to handle, ride, or groom any horse without permission of the property manager.
- Please check with staff before turning your horse out in a paddock, pasture, or arena.
- No one, except the Monarch Equestrian staff and owner, is allowed to feed any horse without permission of the owner or property manager.
- Please do not leave your horse unattended in the barn aisle or wash racks at any time.
- No dogs are allowed on the property at any time.
- All equipment, including halters, lead ropes, and grooming supplies should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.
- If you would like your horse left in, in the morning or afternoon, please give the staff notice the day or evening before.
- If you are running late or not coming, please call as soon as possible so your horse is properly cared for.
- If you are to be out of town or unavailable, please leave specific instructions in writing with the staff as to the care of your horse in your absence. Also, leave phone numbers of your destination and alternate numbers in case of emergency,
- The equestrian staff will use their best judgement in the care and upkeep of any horse stabled at Monarch Equestrian (turn-out, feed, farrier, etc.).
- No horses will be turned out in inclement weather (thunderstorms or strong winds).
- No medication will be administered by any member of the Monarch Equestrian staff without specific instructions from a licensed vet and/or the owner.
- All horses must have an up-to-date negative Coggins and shot record on file in the Monarch Equestrian office.
